The Newsleecher beta’s and Grabit are often freezing threads, which cause a time-out.
This problem can be solved in multiple ways, the solutions are listed below.
• Change the reconnect option in your leech program, after doing this close your leech program for about 10 to 15 minutes.
For Grabit, go to server properties -> server timeout, - At least 120 Seconds. • Delete your current server settings and recreate them.
• Change your password in the user panel. It can take up to 15 minutes before the new password is activated.
• Temporarily change the amount of threads you are using to a lower amount (4 or 5).
For Newsleecher, Go to the options menu -> connections -> and change “reset hanging threads” to at least 120 Seconds
For Newsbin Pro(v4.x), Go to preferences -> options -> network -> socket timeout -> 120 seconds
